Default CBR F3 No crank, lights on. Clutch diode issue?

Hey all,

I’ve been racking my brain for this for a few days. I just did a F4I speedometer conversion and now the bike won’t crank. The kill switch and starter button were tested with an ohmmeter and got low resistance and showed continuity when they were in the appropriate conditions.

The starter motor works, as when I jump the starter directly to the battery it spins. New starter relay too. I checked the clutch diode (the one on the right side of the bike in the wiring harness) and was promptly given an ohm resistance of ~5-8M ohms in one direction and open in the other. When I probe the fuse for the starter circuit I get 12.5V, when I probe the y/r wire going into the starter relay I get ~.25-.5V and the same on the g/r wire next to it.

My question is, could a clutch diode with such a high resistance cause a voltage loss and cause and inability to crank? If not, what am I missing? All my lights work, kickstand and neutral switch both ground and light comes on the tach.
