Default cbr f3 to f4i split seat

can any body tell me the process to put an f4i split seat and tail on my f3 and what ill need to do so

It will involve cutting off the subframe, welding on brackets for an f4/F4i subframe, relocating elctronics, potentially re-working your battery box, and maybe modifying your exhaust mount depending on how the subframe lines up.

Not a small job.

sounds like a pita think ill stich with the ole bananna seat its super comfy any way thanks for the info

Do the R1 tail... It's A LOT easier than I thought it was going to be..

My 2008 R1 Tailswap was pretty easy apart from mounting the underseat exhausts straight, lots of linkpipe choices later and it fitted lol Metro exhaust pipe for the win lol

You're missing the point, switching to anything other than the F3 will require significant modification. Whether it's switching subframes, or cutting old brackets and adding new ones to the stocker and bending and re-welding the stock tubes.

Also, you realize that the f4i's banana seat is the same style as our F3?? Sounds like a lot of work to put in for not much change...

He's on about adding the tails from one of the older F4I's that were 2 seperate seats mate.
