About 3months ago i laid my cbr 600 f3 1998 down before this point it ran perfectly it has sat for about 3 months got back on it today and the bike has every bit of power it used to in first gear but once i shift to second i cant get over 4k rmps without bogging down yet firt i can pull the wheel off the ground and redline the bike... 3rd gear is the same way get to about 4 k and it starts bogging down. It might be worth noting that the gauges arent hookes up but other than that and fairing everything is there anyone have a idea?
oh also i know its not starving for fuel cause i shift right down to 1st and all the power is back

 

the air bypass valve is grounded through the guages this may be why. try unplugging the bypass valve (2 wire connector). i ran into this problem when i removed the guages on my f3, was a mother ****er to figure out
