Just a quick question about seafoam. What does it exactly do? Will it make the difference from not having to clean your carbs? Does it help unclog a jet? I am just curious of the wonders it has done for you guys. Thanks.

i think seafoam worked way too well on my carbs that it probably dislodged some gunk and clogged up my jets (just a guess).. bike wouldnt go higher than 3k rpm.. and now it was only running on 2 cylinders.. took her to the shop and have my fingers crossed

So you can only use this stuff if your bike is running? Just making sure. It helps if your bike is running kinda rough?

i'm not sure as to how others use it, but ill dump some in my gas tank and and when it runs through the fuel system it will help remove some of the gunk that may be stuck in the carbs. i dont think it would be as effective as tearing your carbs apart and cleaning them, but this is a much easier way, just pour and ride.

its only $9 a can at autozone or advanced auto, so i figure its worth a shot. might take a few doses before you notice some results. it comes in a 16 oz bottle and i think the ratio is 1 oz/gal.

read this from their product website..

Yo thanks a lot man. Ill try it out and see. Yea you never know. I wish i felt more comfortable taking the carbs off and just cleaning the crap out of them. But ill try this and hopefully it will work really well. Thanks again man.
