Can you replace just the rubber diaphragm on the carb slides or are they all one piece? One of my diaphragms is torn and I can't seem to find a replacement slide but I did find a cheap rubber diaphragm on ebay.

 

It comes as one piece. You could probably separate them, but I've never tried. They can be a tough find new. I would suggest buying a complete used carb that way you have spare parts

 

You could glue a cut ballon to patch it for now. Just has to be flexible to flop shut with vacum pressure and pull up the slide evenly and str8. If u in a pinch. But yea I would buy a used slide with the rubber attached.
