What's the deal with the speedo cluster unplugged and it effecting the way the carbs work? I'm in the middle of sorting thru multiple problems and had the speedo cluster out to try to repair the trip odometer reset ****. Can anyone explain this? Thank you-Mike

 

Yes, there is a signal that comes from the speedometer at about 12mph that switches the airflow from those small little Funnel looking things below the headlight to an alternate path. It's called the Direct Air Intake System.

also good luck repairing the trip meter post if that is what you working on. I did that and it’s a bit of a booger. With as popular as they are now it might be easier to find someone with a 3D printer and make a new one.
