Cant get my Carbs off (phyically stuck!)
I pull and pull and rock and push and shake and pull some more. THESE WONT COME OFF!!!! GRRRRRRR
I losened all the clamps on the piston head side, some too much and the screw came out (just to be sure)
All the hoses are off, but even if I did forget one, I should still be able to lift the carbs a few inces before they snag.
Why cant I get these off, I mean, I AM PULLING LIKE HELL, any harder and Im gonna break the thing off!
HELLLLP!!!

Try a lever with something to prevent it scratching/damaging the carbs and/or the
fulcrum point. Use it and firmly, pry them off. Move back and forth across all of the
carbs to evenly apply the pressure. Once they break free, they will come off fine.
I soak the boots down with armor-all and set them aside, while I work on the carbs-themselves.
That will soften them and make future mount/dis-mounts easier. A dab of grease when you remount will help with that chore, as well.
Good luck, Ern

Well well, thanks mad hatter, and thanks candy. I used the pry bar (carful not to damage the soft aluminum) and with a little hard work they came off easy enough.
Thanks guys, but please read my other thread, I have a scary issue maybe.....
