I got the smallest long screwdriver that I think I will be able to find, and I still cannot get it into the screw and the carbs are not going to budge with that third one still tightly in place.

 

Try another angle. That's the one that was a real bytch for me to get to as well.

You can't give up until the tendons in your arm have twisted into some semblance of a Gordian knot. But when you're done, women will really appreciate your newfound contortionist abilities

Oh yeah, you might try a short handle screwdriver and attacking it from the top. Or a flexible screwdriver

 

well, my new plan of attack is to get the other two band screws out of the way and come in with a long screwdriver that should fit now with the band screws out, only thing now is to figure out how to make a hook for the second one. On a side note, how the heck do you ever get them back in and snugged down, or are they not needed?
