3)when putting the new one in, do not, do not, not not not overtighten it, and ill tell you why most of us did... after its finger tight and a quarter turn more like it should be, there are still plenty of threads left (looks like it needs to be screwed in more) and it doesn't sit flush because of it. looks like it should be tighter because it doesn't sit as far in as the last one... so just a heads up.
I didn't even get to step 3 before my original one seized. Now I have no clue how to do get out. I am thinking of an extract bolt but not sure what size I will need, how to get it down into that small area, and how it will work with brass. Anyone else have this issue and what did you do to fix it?

I like your PM solution of leaving it alone better.

buy another sensor, cut the rad hose, and make an inline screw in between them, clamp it down and you are good to go

F*** my buddy said he could get it out and cracked the metal around it. Now what?

Anyone know how I can remove my engine I can't find the manual. Maybe I can tig it back together. I tld him we should just leave it like spicey said, but he is a mechanic and said he got this. So what to do? Buy a head, weld - drill and tap, or just JBweld it?

Will an F2 head fit on a F3? I found one for a descent price.

I guess my friend (pro-welder) says he is going to try to weld it back together then drill and tap the hole after. Just have to remove the engine (what fun) but at least I can paint the frame black instead of the silver stock color. Do not think that will go well with a camo paint scheme as compared to a flat black. Figure I will buy a head just in case though. never know

well it is leaking anti-freeze now so I will have to patch weld the tiny crack and then tap and drill the hole for the new sensor. Wish my buddy wasn't so damn ambitious and left it alone like you said.
