So it's been a long while since I've touched the F3 and so here is where things are at. The frame and engine have officially been moved out of the front room and into the garage. The bike the is partially assembled to the point of being on it's own wheels, harness is in, have a majority of the electronic bits connected, and the carbs are in. I still have to finish connecting up the cooling system and the ignition (aka, install coils and plugs). Here are a few pics when I was putting things together. I don't have any with the wheels and carbs in, but I'll get those up tonight most likely.

So it's been a while since I have done something with the ol F3. Between work, girl fiend, family illness, and sports, things have been sitting for while. I finally pulled up my sleeves and got to work/greasy. I started up the bike on Saturday night and things started up without an issue. Carbs needed some tuning, but there were no fluids on the ground. After a carb tune, she just purred.
It was now time to see if the new RR was an improvement. Before starting the bike, the battery voltage was at 13.1. I started the bike and took a measurement at an idle, the reading was 13.8 V. A slow rev up to 5K (neighbors luv me), 14.8V. So much better than the OEM RR!!!! I would get battery voltage at an idle with the OEM RR.
I spent last night putting on the plastics and finding how many bits I had cannibalized to a friends F3. I still need to install the chain and sprockets and have new rubber ready to be installed, just have to take the wheels to a tire shop. Hopefully I can get this done today or tomorrow.
Pictures soon.

Wow, that is one great looking F3

I miss mine now. Sold her years back. I'd get another in a heartbeat. Great job, you can tell lots of love and dedication went into this.
