?? Brake rotors ??
I asked for help when I purchased my Vortex racing clip-ons, I recieved some advise that told me not tobuy them, they don't fitand I decited to ignore the advice and order them anyway, I got screwed![:@]They totally didn't fit just like I was told. Totally my own fault [sm=headbang.gif] So the reason for this post is because I am in need of brake rotors, and as I'm sure anyone who has priced them out they are very expensive! So before I go spending a whole lot of money on something I would like to get some input from you guys. My first question, is anyoneusing EBC rotors? Do you like them? and would you buy them again if you needed new rotors? I am considering these, they are the pro-lite contour series: http://www.kneedraggers.com/details/...3--603906.htmlMy next question is, doesanyone have these exact rotors? I would just like to thank everyone in advance, and asure you that I will take any advise seriously [sm=thanx.gif]
I had those same rotors on my F3. They worked great, but I never pushed the bike that hard when I had those rotors. They made a small hiss noise when slowing from high speeds because the waves. I personally loved the rotors.
What this isit? This is all the input everyone has to offer about brake rotors? So your telling meeveryone is still using thier factory rotors? [:-]Damn those things must be bullet proof. Thanks poorfish appreciate the info. I was thinking about those because of price as well, but it is nice to hear that they worked well for you!
The biggest difference you are going to notice with these rotors is not your stopping power but lack of brake fade because the rotors will stay cooler and better feed back from the front wheel. If you really want stopping power get the steel braided lines and nice pads then if your stopping power isn't satisfactory get the rotors. The stock lines flex to easy.
