Bogs when idle
hey guys,
my friend just bought a 98 600 f3. the only problem with the bike is when its at idle, and you give it a litle gas it bogs a little. but if you give it a little extra gas it doesnt bog. so you cant really start from standstill unless you give it some extra gas and leting the rpms drop little. the only mod it has is a vance and hines slip-on. im not sure when the carbs were jetted, or synced(or if you have to do it after you put on a slip)do you guys think it needs to be jetted/synced, or maybe something else. the carbs might just be dirty. any feedback would help.
thanks

Have the carbs synched -- that never hurts. Also make sure the idle rpm's are where they're supposed to be. Usually the slip-ons don't have to be jetted -- check the instructions or call the manufacturer and see what they recommend.
