Default Bike fell over, now floods out

Short version: bike tipped and now floods out with fuel pump. Is the fuel pump relay going out or is a float stuck open?

Had a strong storm come through and blew my f3 over this weekend.
Went out and saw it laying over, so i picked it up and let it settle thinking the oil might have gone into some different places. Came back out after about 3 hours and tried to start her up. Fuel pump usually primes then slows down to a tick then totally stops. But today it primed then slow to a tick, but this time just kept ticking every 2-3 seconds. So i tried starting it anyway and fuel came out a drain hole in the exhaust. So I unplugged the fuel pump at the wire connector. Before starting, i tapped on each of the float bowls. Bike starts after about 15-20 seconds with fuel pump off, idles, revs, then stalls out. Hooked pump back up. Same problem. Unhooked pump to start it, and while it idled i hooked the pump back up. This hydro-locked my motor.

so raw fuel is making it's way all the way to your exhaust?... hmmmm

I would definitely take a look in the carbs... tapping on the bowls doesn't always work... hell it never worked for me

i had fuel spray out of the front of the carbs.... then again i had an 80s accord pump

called the dealership and they think its a stuck float, does that mean i have to pull the tank, air box, and pull the carbs apart?

Sounds like a stuck float to me. Yes, I would pull the carbs and remove the float bowls. Then remove the floats and the float valve. Inspect the valve and make sure they are not gummed up.While you are at it, I would clean the carbs.

and yes that does mean removing the tank, airbox, and carbs... be thankful it's a 90s era bike... the newer you get the more **** is shoved into a smaller space

Just did it all. Haven't taken it back outside to start her yet. But changed the plugs while I was in there. All pick black but #4. All the carb idle/pilot screws were at 4,3,3.5, and 2.5. 2.5 turns out was #4 and it was still blackish. Is 1.75 to 2 turns out a good place to start? It would idle at 3.5k or no idle at all before setting back to stock

Sounds like you had a pre-existing problem before the bike tipped. 3.5k is idling way too high. Someone will chime in soon I'm sure on how many turns out the pilots should be to start. But put in new plugs first, then set the pilots and then adjust your idle.

You have too many things going wrong for a real diag imo. Get things to where they should be as normal. Then if she doesn't start / floods we can help to figure out why

When was the bike idling @3.5k? Stuck float as everyone is saying is most likely the cause of the flooding. But with black plugs + wierd pilot settings + high idle the tip over could have unstuck a float for all we can tell.

Get the bike back to what should be normal with new plugs, correct pilot settings, clean carbs and what not. Then see what she does

The carbs were cleaned just before the tip but mixture screws werent touched, with new fuel filter. Brand new, ngk r plugs. Mixture screws are set at 1.75 turns out, but from what i see should it be a 2 1/2 turns out now? Wants to fire up, but it back fires about every 4-5 seconds. No more fuel in the exhaust.

Old plugs
Plug second from the top was with the pilot at 2 1/2 turns out
Bottom was at 4 out
Other two were 3-3 1/2 out

Dont know it this makes it any different but it has a K&N, yohsi exhaust, and a jet kit. Before the tip i only had big idle problems. Bike ran strong enough that rolling into second above 4k would lift the front wheel up.
