Alright. I'll go back out and check. Trying to hide this number Bridgestone and Dunlop are

EDIT: Do they got letters in the oval with the numbers, if so

Dunlop Sportmax Touring: 9BN1600
Bridgestone 016: DFC0812

So if these are right... My front tire is 13 years old...

Could have. Need to see a pic to be sure... With all that cracking, and if the bike sat around for many years, it may be 13 years old.

Both tires for comparison. I'm heading to my friends house and were going to L.A. I'm not taking the motorcycle for this reason.

Yup. My wear patterns are gonna be so weird now. Oh well. Wish I knew this information before I bought it. Now I've learned from my experience. Thanks for the help guys.

It's just a tire. You will replace many sets of them over the life of the bike.

If you're concerned about wear patterns being way different, replace them both. STG has decent deals on them.

Ya I understand. I'm just use to swapping out tires for my Trans Am. My 016 still has a good amount of rubber left and that's 3000 miles. Gonna go to the shop when I get back and see what they got for a front tire. Thinking of getting a S20 or 023 Bridgestone since my 016 doesn't have enough grip for me.

The 023 will have less grip than a 016. The 016 is almost stock (014). Get a 016 front and run them for 3k and replace both. If you go softer for more grip, that drive to SA will kill the quickly.

Okay will do. I'll find a 016 front run for another 3 and replace it. I run both my tires at 35 psi cold and I'm getting great mileage out of my rear.

Well quick update. Went to the shop today and got a new tire. Rides much better now, not as much vibration going to my hands, and it doesn't wobble anymore.

And I noticed my grip are pretty worn, and very thin. Gonna grab some Driven D3 grips soon here.

Oh and the new tire was a Bridgestone S20. And before they put it on, I checked the date on the tire. 1112. Better than 2800!!
