anyone with one piece tail, help

Default anyone with one piece tail, help

what do you guys use to hold the rear up?

I have the tail with no tabs so its just resting on the tail light bracket and theres a bit of a gap

I have that same one piece tail I got off Ebay. If you have the stock mounting bracket which holds the taillights in place, you should just need to drill holes thru the inner section of the tail and use the mounting screws from your former tail to hold down your new tail. I hope that helps.

i dont really follow, do you have any pics?

i forgot to mention i have the 97-98 tail section, would that matter?

I had the same tail section and it doesn't matter either. Only way I could get you a pic is if I take the tail off and the seat. That whole piece you really have to do some modification work because when you buy it it doesn't come with bored out holes. I'll try and locate some pics online and get back with you.
