98 headlight retaining clip

Default 98 headlight retaining clip
How the hell do you put that stupid metal clip back in the headlight? I replaced the bulb already, but I cant see behind it to put it back on. I have the manual, and it has a picture, but that doesnt help when you cant see a damn thing!!! Help please!!
