soa few days agomy fuel pump started leaking from the seam...i smeared some jb weld on it, appered to quit leaking, istarted turning off my petcock to prevent any more leaking.. im pretty sure the jb weld wont last forever and was wondering if the pump should be replaced or if its ok to just turn the fuel off when not being ridden? i know it should be replaced but it doesnt appear to leak while being ridden...if i have to buy a new pump my wife will kill me, so if anyone wants a bike, there may be one for sale...haha.... thanks in advance for any input

Dang Willduce - is her name Jen, by chance?
Same **** here, buddy. You know you have a problem when you're hiding the, "Ride Red" Honda dealer sack full of OEM goodies.
I have a seperate cash stash solely for the bike/s. I rarely tell her anything about them unless I can't hide it. Then I tell her it's only preventative maintainence![Wink](https://cbrforum.com/forum/images/smilies/wink.gif)
Otherwise I just let her notice something (
), and if she asks I tell her I got it for free from a buddy ![Smile](https://cbrforum.com/forum/images/smilies/smile.gif)
Anyway, replace that gasket ya sumbitch!
