Default 98 f3 fuel pump

soa few days agomy fuel pump started leaking from the seam...i smeared some jb weld on it, appered to quit leaking, istarted turning off my petcock to prevent any more leaking.. im pretty sure the jb weld wont last forever and was wondering if the pump should be replaced or if its ok to just turn the fuel off when not being ridden? i know it should be replaced but it doesnt appear to leak while being ridden...if i have to buy a new pump my wife will kill me, so if anyone wants a bike, there may be one for sale...haha.... thanks in advance for any input

gasket should have been replaced but it started leaking one night when the dealer was closed so i got pissed and smeared jb weld on it....which means i can probably not get it back apart to change the gasket....bonehead move on my part i know...oh well

Dang Willduce - is her name Jen, by chance?

Same **** here, buddy. You know you have a problem when you're hiding the, "Ride Red" Honda dealer sack full of OEM goodies.

I have a seperate cash stash solely for the bike/s. I rarely tell her anything about them unless I can't hide it. Then I tell her it's only preventative maintainence

Otherwise I just let her notice something (), and if she asks I tell her I got it for free from a buddy

Anyway, replace that gasket ya sumbitch!

900rr,FZR/YZF 600,and F3 all use the same fuel pump.F2 does NOT use a fuel pump.
