i am looking to get an integrated led tail light for my f3, does anyone have one for sale or what do you recommend for this bike? are they to hard to install? thanks

 

The only one I know of is Clear Alternatives.

 

if your looking to clean up the tail lights/blinkers, get a set of smaller turn signals and they should fiot in the corners of the 97/98 tail light perfectly. i did this on my 98 and worked out really nice. but by doing this you do run the chnace of your blinkers being harder for ppl to see

 

First off, I installed my Clear Alternatives tail with no issues. As long as you’re not color blind you can’t screw it up. The only downfall that I have noticed is that now my signals blink rear quick even with the resistor installed. They still work fine and I like how they work.

Now that I said that, HAVOC…did you use those add on lights with the integrated tail or stock tail? Now that you brought this to my mind I think that I may try to add those lights where you’re talkin to increase the amount of light and maybe slow down my blink rate some.

 

yea i used my stock tail and in those empty corners just added some small "cat eye" blinkers.fit great, cleaned up the rear.

^thats just about exactly what i did except i used some small flsuh mounts instead of a normal bulb.

 

Sweet! I can't wait to try this but I'll use an amber bulb since I already have the clear tail.
