I was told from the seller that my bike was originally a smokin joes edition, however, it had new plastic and paint put on it before i bought it. Is there any difference between a smokin joes and a regular cbr? apparantly they didnt make very many of these, but i heard they all have a production number on them. #1, #2, and so on.. Does anyone know where this is or how to find it?

I'm not sure if theres any difference but I believe they only made 1500 of them and if you look at the vin number i believe the last four numbers will tell you what production number it was... don't hold it to me though!! mine supposlly was #500 lol...

 

should be something about it stamped in the neck tag. i think it should be stamped with with SE at the end of the model number it if it was a smoking joes

 

on the vin plate, the bottom left hand corner will say CBR600SE. found out mine was a smokin joes. sure enough, when i flipped the black rattle can side fairings over, i saw purple. tail fairings yellow.....

didnt know about the last 4 of the vin, if thats the case, mine is number 75. i dont know about that tho, cause how would you differentiate between 100/1100, 200/1200 300/1300 etc etc.....?

 

I'll have to check the VIN plate but if it is the last 3 digits then mine was # 35
