I recently bought a KOSO North American Aftermarket Gauge cluster for the bike. It has a Fuel meter setting, but my bike doesnt have a fuel gauge. What needs to be done to get a fuel guage? I was thinking maybe getting a fuel gauge from an F4 or F4i. Worst case scenario, I was even considering swapping the tank wth one from a newer bike. Any ideas?

In my opinion It would not be worth the hassle, unless you just like a big challenge. I have always just filled my tank up and reset the trip meter to zero then ride till it starts to run out. Then flip it over to reserve and go get more. I usually go from 130 miles to about 150 miles before I hit reserve, just depending how I ride it. Then on reserve I can go about 20 or 30 more miles on just reserve. My wife had a FZR with a YZF tank which had the fuel light sensor on it but on a YZF it ran through the CDI harness and the FZR had no such wiring so I just never wired it up. We just always fueled up before riding and again at about 125 miles. It was all alot easier.
