'96 CBR 600 F3 Project
#11
It's been awhile since I've updated, but quite a bit of progress has been made. Engine is all sorted, carbs and fuel pump (Thanks @cd176) on, bike runs great. I've got quite a few parts to install, but diving into front suspension first. Both fork tubes have a slight crease just below lower triple clamp, so the search is on for clean fork tubes, or a complete set of forks, plus a '97-'98 front fender. Pulled the exhaust from my son's bike in the meantime and have redone a set of OEM exhaust, really happy with how the street bike has turned out, nearly 100% stock. Here's the project in it's current state, and the street bike.

I might pull the stock tail section from the track bike and put it on the street bike, will have a place to put the OEM tool kit then, and looking at some other options for the indicators. The TLC that the project bike needs is keeping me out of trouble...

Rear suspension has been replaced and fuel tank cleaned, now the bike is getting close. New chain and sprockets arrived, new forks, calipers, rear master cylinder, waiting for brake lines and pads to show up then I can look into wrapping up the mechanical side of things. I've been finding some good deals on random fairing pieces, so it's starting to look like a bike again...
