I recently purchased an f3. I noticed right off the bat that the fork seals were bad and decided I would fix them myself. Everything went great. When I work on any bike I use the factory service manual. Why guess at an issue or how to fix it when I can have all the answers right in front of me. It went great. Everything came apart like it should until I reached the actual fork seals and it seems it is welded in there. I have spent 4 days and had numerous friends come and help to unseat the fork seals to no avail. Is there something I'm missing? Has anyone ever experienced an issue like this. I ended up purchasing used ones on eBay but I would like to know what went wrong if it happened on my part. Just let me know what info you need and I will gladly give it to you. Thank you.

 

What seals, fork tubes or legs? I had to cut some seals out of a fork leg that was corroded in place...so it happens.
