trying to figure out what is needed for this swap. i was under the assumption that you get the taillight, seats, rear fairing and lower tank trim pieces and then u make brackets to fit the seats and such like that.

But looking into a few DIYs, people are using the 600rr rear subframe and welding it to the f3 and doing it that way.

is that method manditory?

It all depends on how much time and money you want to put into it. And access to a welding machine.
