Default 520 Conversion 98 CBR600F3

Hello I am looking to make the 520 conversion my my 1998 Honda CBR600F3. What gears should I get if I want some more low end torgue for easy wheelies without having to clutch them? I have the stock in the rear and I think 1 tooth bigger in the front for more top end. But I dont need that.

I believe the stock is 14 Front & 43 Rear

Thanks,

Ron

i would try -1 +2 and see what dose for you but your speed-o will be off so you will have to get a healer for your bike, and you will run way diffent RPMs on your bike. also you should be able to power you bike up in 1st and 2end gear anyhow. that is just my 2cents on the matter

Hello there thanks for the reply. Sorry it took me so long to respond. I stayed with the 525 chain size. Since the 520's were backordered. I thought it was 16/43 but it was really 14/43. I went to 15/46 from 14/43. Do I still need the healer? Can you give me a brief education of a healer also. I never heard of one. But I am a quick learner.

Stock is 15-43 on 91-94 F2s and 95-98 F3s.

So Luner's gearing suggestion is 14 front or 45 rear.

1 down in the front is equal to 3 up in the rear.
