Default New (to me) CBR600F3

Hey guys,

New to the forum. I've been riding for a while, but I was bikeless for the past 2 years, and just picked up a '98 CBR600F3 this past weekend. Sooooo glad to be back on two wheels

Already starting to make my to do list. I have a burnt out turn signal bulb, and I figure changing all the fluids isn't a bad idea. Which leads me to 2 questions:

1) Any preference on the Haynes or Clymer Manuals?
2) Any parts website that typically has great prices?

Also thinking of getting a bike stand for when i'm doing repairs/maintenance. Not having a centerstand is kind of a pain, but I can deal. I'm also debating frame sliders, but i'm not in a hurry to go popping holes in my plastics. We shall see...

Welcome Ishmael, congrat's on getting another bike man.

Most manuals can be found for downloading ...grab 'em both check you section.

I like cheapcyclepartsdotcom myself .... good prices at times and the advertise on
here sometimes...... just my choice like the way their sit works and have had great
luck with them too

Welcome to the site! I actually had my frame sliders professionally installed - didn't want to cut holes in my plastics.

Regardless welcome again!

Welcome to the fourm+ 1 on having the frame sliders installed professionally because you know that they will look good and wouldn't know about the stands I just use automotive jack stands

Thanks for the welcome guys! I have to pick up a new jacket this weekend, while I'm at cycle gear I'll get a ballpark on the labor for a frame slider install. Come to think of it I need new grips too...

Actually Cycle Gear said they don't install them, I would have to find another shop or take it to the dealer.

Yeah I suppose I should sign up for a photobucket and get some pics up. Been out riding a ton since I got her!
