ok just looking for some experienced opinions or possible options anyone knows about. i personally dont like my tire on my bike right now. its a 160/60/zr17 and id like to go a little wider. ive read threads where people say you can fit a 190 but the handling gets worse? i havent been able to see anything about an f4i swing arm swap and how hard or costly it is. maybee anyone knows of a kit for it? annnnnnnnyyyy info appreciated! thanks.

My shinko 170 was bigger than my PP 180.
the 170 seems to be the sweet spot, as the bike still needles left and right while grabbing a chunk of asphalt.
I dont recommend 180's on the f3 rim, or anything higher for that matter, as it distorts the tire and causes premature wear.

Ditto on the 170's, that seems to be the consensus from my research, as well.
As far as the swing-arm, I think, you need different bushings to get the alignment right.
Other than brag-rights, though, I'm not convinced it's any improvement over stock.
I could think of a lot of better ways to spend the cash.

You could swap the f4 swing on there, as it supports a 180 rear im pretty sure its a 5.5"
but for the money to make it right, id say get better rubber.

My guess is you only need the big tyres when you have an excess of power to put down on corner exit. Using a big tyre just slows the steering and provides no benefit unless you are shredding the tyre/spinning on exiting bends. I seriously doubt anyone needs more than a 160 with these bikes for grip, maybe a 170 to get a more eggy profile to change handling but a 180 or 190 on the standard rim would be a step too far and on a bigger rim it'll just be for looks I doubt there's any benefit.
