Default 1000rr fairings?

I was originally cruising ebay looking to do the f4I front conversion when I came across a 1000rr front end that was mislabelled. I got the digital gauge, headlights, fairing stay and front fairing for $40.00!! I was originally planning on reselling them on ebay for a profit, but now I kinda want to keep them and put it on my F3. I have no fairings for my bike. Has anyone else done this? I think it'd look pretty good. If you know of anyone who's done this please post a link or pics.

Theres a guy on here that put an R1 front on his F3 and looks good. I think the 1k front would look great. Anything can be done if you have the time, tools and a small amount of know how. G'luck.

That is true! I had my F3 for about 6 months or so and my wife got to wanting a bike so I ran across a 92 FZR yamaha cheap, it just needed plastics up front. Someone had already modified the rear and put an R6 tail and seat on and a YZF gas tank so we ran across a complete set of YZF 600R front plastic and had to buy a stay for it but about a week later she had a completely different looking bike! Some fabbing of brackets had to be done and a little trimming here and there. The stock header hit the lower center front piece so I got a YZF header but had to shorten all 4 tubes about 2" just off the head to get it up high enough but it worked out like a charm. ANYTHING is possible, but may not easy!
