Default When up on a jack. . . the chain

I've been trying to figure out how I can improve my f2's mpg's. Just replaced spark plugs and air filter... When lubing the chain on the service stand I noticed (bike in first up on the stand) the chain was just bouncing around something terrible. I adjusted the chain. It still seems a bit bouncy at times.

Either it needs the resistance of the road to stabalize, or maybe the berrings in the back arn't good. You guys know a good way to tell?

When I adjusted the chain it got alot better but still not quite right. I havn't even ridden the bike since I have done any of this work, but I ride tomarrow morning so we'll get more updates.

One way to tell if your wheel bearings are shot is if you can wiggle the tire from side to side. If there's movement then the bearings are probably shot, if its solid then they are probably fine.

you can get better gas mileage by gaining a tooth in the front and losing 2 teeth in the back. brings down your rpms while you ride at the same speed. less revs per minute= less gas burned
