Plenty mechanics will not use them nor advise riders to fit them , due to the fact that ..if you over tighten them just a little too much ...you will do damage to chains guides and even gears?? if you real screw up the setting up of them..!!
A funny little known fact from way back guys ...applies to drive chains as well as timing chains !!
a slightly loose chain is way way better that a slightly tight one !!
The honda later model ( upgraded std ) one is still not perfect ...but for 2 hrs work every 30,000-40,000 + klm.... I will stick with them and swap them out

Thanks for the advice Steve, but I put a brand new OEM oneher and it didn't change the noise a bit. (Yes, I primedit first!!) People on here have been raving about the manual ones and I'm willing to give it a try. I'm nothing if not careful with my baby.
