Default Well she's in the shop

Took my '92 f2 with 23,XXX miles to the Honda dealer.

Getting new fork oil and seals...and I asked them to adjust the rear suspension so everything is balanced.

One day I gotta get new pics of it...with the frame sliders and me in full gear.

I'll let ya'll know how it rides with the new fork oil and stuff later. [8D]

Well everything in Hawaii costs way more so don't be too shocked...

new fork oil and seals = 2.5 hrs labor = $261 *ouch!

And the saddest thing is that there's almost no difference...the problem is not the front forks but the rear shock spring.

It's worn out... and I wish I had changed that instead of the front fork oil.

New shock spring for '92 f2 = $124

Labor = $175

Hope that helps you -- and it sounds like you have a nice, classic f2 also!

thanks City Worker-- yes at least I know the forks will be good for a while

And they cleaned some rust spots on them too, now they're nice and shiny!
