Good advice about the hole except I think I'll custom fit one of those oil absorption "diapers" on the bottom just in case I actually do have a serious oil leak. I thought same thing, your ideal seems like it would be a good ideal. I just plan to put a piece of Duct tape over the hole whenever I use it on track days.

Oh yeah, for track days that makes perfect sense. As for my bike I doubt it will ever see a track, at least not with me on it! I guess I'll see what I need to do when I get her finished. As for now, I've got bigger fish to fry!
