Default Updated F2 1000RR swap

Thought I'd share some photos of the current 1000RR conversion. AKA poor man's Repsol. I've painted the rims, and tank by myself. Took me a long time finding an orange that would match somewhat. Still perfecting my carbon fiber molding skills to cover the sub frame gap between the tank and frame. I believe that is the trickiest part of any swap. Anyways I hope you guys enjoy and keep the hate to a minimal

First 2 pictures are how the bike started out as. It's come a long way! One year anniversary! About to hit 60k miles

...And that's the same bike?

Next, do mine...

Looking at that first pic, have you raised the tail or is it supposed to be so high? Mine sits way lower and it got me thinking is my rear shock tired. Wouldn't wanna change it, new costs 585EUR here...

that's an amazing transformation, looks fairly factory from a distance -- need more detailed pics!

Looks awesome! Although for some reason I do like the original paint as well.

As far as I know, it's stock height. I however, did adjust my preload to a pretty hard setting. It's because so my license plate doesn't hit my rear tire. 500 EUR??? Over here, I can buy a used shock for $50 on eBay! Have you tried searching eBay?

Nah, haven`t really had the need to, just that pic got my attention.

I did take another look, and that near 600E apparently is not stock shock, it`s a Bitubo Xze01 gas one.
