When I turn my steering bar all the way left it stops with maybe an inch before the tank, when I turn it all the way right it touches the tank. Is this normal? I know it was dropped on the right side by the previous owner.

 

there are2 things i know of that could have happened, the right bar could have moved where it bolts to the fork, or there are 2turning locktabs on the lower part of the fork brace (just near the bottom of your steering head bearings) these can get damaged, it's most likely it's justthe bar has moved though if it has only been dropped....
