..... '08 YZF R-1 , yamaha blue

i know, i'm a traitor to all you honda guys. but the new cbr's just aren't as appealing to me as the r-1. i'm partial to yamaha for my offroad stuff also, and now i'm obviously hooked. the new cbr just didn't feel as comfortable either. i'm lovin the r-1 so far, i have no regrets whatsoever about moving to the liter bike class.

by the way, i got $2300 for my '92 f2 trade in.(18k miles, exc. condition) they would have given me $2500 if it hadn't needed new tires to pass inspection.

so i guess this is farewell to the cbr crowd. i haven't been too involved here, but for what i was into, i have a lot of respect and appreciation for the folks here. i'd definitely recommend this site to anyone with a cbr of any kind.

i love my honda too but f2 or r1 ummm....... i dont think many peole would disagree with ya there. besides my f2 and warrior 350 have no trouble bein garage mates

 

thanks guys, that's just the kind of support for our sport thatearns the respect that i have for it and the folks here. it's much better than sitesthat are always brand bashing and stuff.

as far as the garage, the r-1 will be right at home with my '01 banshee and '08 700 grizz. my wife's little 250 ninja betterwatch it's back though. [sm=chairshot.gif]
