i had dunlops on my when i got them and i couldnt tell how bad they were but once i put the pirellis on i could definetely tell the difference. my friend has battlax tires and he doesnt like them because they dont get sticky enough for when he clutches up and they spin. after i go around the block i cant even do a brake torque the tire grabs to hard. lol

I hate Dunlops too for my car...i used to have that. I was looking for the dry traction of the Dunlop RoadSmart but couldn't find it. I live in a tropical country so I need to know which tire will be best for our climate.
Pirelli's are hard to come by here. I'm thinking of getting Battlax 014.
So either BT014 or Dunlop RoadSmarts? Still undecided.

The quick answer I think
If you ride like a demon possessed yer Pirelli would be the most popular choice in this place
If you are just an average every day rider that keeps the pegs off the road ..battleax's are not bad. I use them , but I am old and avoid where posible low flying at tyres the limits around windy mountain roads..
battleax's - last longer , grip well , better comfort , cost less....
Pirelli - last second (if thrashed) cost more , grip the **** to a blanket
Dunlops - Dont know anyone that will use them [sm=badidea.gif]
Remember this !!!!!
Tyres are made for different purposes , ask yourself .....
how do I ride ? , what do I need from my tryres ?

I love getting new boots for my ride ... must have bought hundreds over the years , but I still love going and getting them each time
