well no one replied so i went ahead and got one. i put it on tonight and it is insane the difference. from the time it used to take to get from 0 - 6000rpms. now i am getting up to 10-11 .. it is super fast off the line and when you are cruising and go for the throttle the speed is there and the bike is off!!! definately a mod that i would recommend!!

and it took about 10 minutes to install..

Hey what advancer did you get, also did you do anything to your carbs?

I believe I have a bone stock (except a slip on) 93 F2 and was wondering if this would work for me also.

i got a FACTORY brand advancer from dennis kirk it was 60.00 shipped.and it will fit your bike too the part # is 20709. and no you dont have to do anything else like to the carbs or anything you just:

1. pull the right side cover off
2. break the nut on the timing sproket
3. take the one that is on your bike off
4. put the new one on
5.tighten the nut to torque
6. install new gasket and cover
