Default Throttle cable snapped

So I got real lucky. Real lucky...I was taking apart my throttle tube and was tinkering with the throttle when the cable snapped! It was so badly rusted that it was about to snap any moment. I'm so glad I found out before riding! By the way, does $33 seem like an OK deal for both the push and pull cables from motion pro? Free shipping too. Thanks!

Best scenario vs being on the road...for sure.

$33 is a good deal for both. Factory Honda would cost close to twice that.

$33 shipped is great... nothin' to think about - place your order sir!

From Honda, they're a touch over $20 for each cable.

My advice while going through motion pro, look at get a larger throttle tube for faster accelaration. Or get a 2005 R6 throttle tube for around $25.

Tell me more about this R6 throttle tube I've been hearing about, if you don't mind. I need to replace mines anyways since it's heavily cracked and damaged. I've heard that they give a quicker throttle response? I just don't want to go to extreme lengths in order to modify it though. If it's a piece of cake to do, then I will go for it.

Know that I have tried the 1/6th R6 throttle tube and doesn't fit with our cables. There just is not enough slack to adjust it with, even at the carbs.
I recommend the 2005 R6 throttle tube with 1/5th the pull. Better than stock, faster throttle response and accelaration.
