RE: Taking bike to shop
You guys don't know how much you made my morning!!!!:):)
Please, school me. So should I go with BlkF2, Philo, or cloudbreakmd? I want to go with the easiest solution. Something that I can do without taking it back to that shop. Thank you guys, in advance, for all your help. |
RE: Taking bike to shop
Awful nice of the shop to try and rip you off. I cant beleive that!

RE: Taking bike to shop
I wou ld say buy yourself a new cam chain tensioner and install it urself. If the noise is'nt gone, changing the cam chain itself would be a solution i guess. But first try to replace the tensioner (i've heard/read that there are some aftermarket chain tensioners wich are changeable with the hand instead of automatically). I think there will be some how to's related to changing a cct.
U can also try another shop. Maybe they will tell u the truth, and will not be that commercial that they wanna rip u of or someting like that! I wish u luck my fellow F2 owner with a common CCT problem :D |
RE: Taking bike to shop
Ah i didn't read what Blkf2 said before i replied. But i think that's a good idea. Just replace the stock for a manual one instead. Then the problem will not be back that soon i guess.
