Default Stuck Throttle

Well i have a problem with the throttle cable. It is brand new but it isn't recoiling back so i get to have the pleasure of having cruise control when i really don't want it. I've checked the cables to and from the handle and there is no bind, The spring/part the cables are attached to seems to be sticky... Anything that would help to loosen??? Thanks

Kevin

Well you would know if you put lube on the new cable which it doesnt sound like you did. I would make sure the cable had some grease and also ensure that there is no possible binding from the throttle handle itself. Check to make sure you have the handle seated properly inside the cutoff housing as well. Just ideas for you.
