Default Stolen

sad day for me and my bike... so we moved to a new apartment, and before I had time to properly secure my baby, six days into it, mind you while were still in the moving process and before i set up my security cameras, some dumb-@ss decided to steal it. luckily for me he was retarded and had noooo idea how to start a carb engine.. he destroyed the stearing lock, ignition, ignition wires and shattered my left hand rear cowl fairing. I replaced all the parts to her, and am building a hidden ignition toggle kill switch, a bolt-cutter proof chain and lock, set up the camera system, and am now installing a new cyclone 866 bike alarm. the part that scared me the most was how easy it is to steal... litterally out in a parking lot ne john on the side of the road can ride off with it in 8 seconds if he knew how to start it. So for all the owners I do advise getting a loud a$$ bike alarm. its closest to your best chance.

Thanks for sharing with us. I've also had my bad experiences at my college. There are several cameras where my motorcycle parking is, but people just don't even care. I had my bike almost stolen 2 months back. My wiring harness was yanked out and exposed. Someone obviously tried hot wiring it... Don't know why he quit. Maybe he found out that my bike was't really a 2005 CBR1000RR Repsol when he saw the choke lever lmao. I always have a disc lock on my bike now. Thinking about getting an alarm system but it would go off all the time, since the motorcycle parking is always cramped!

So it wasn't actually "Stolen", they just destroyed a bunch of stuff? Either way, sucks. There's not much I dislike more, than f'ing morons (probably drug addicts) who destroy and rob what you've put your blood, sweat and tears into. Really makes me want to put my hands on anyone that thinks about taking what little I have. Vehicle theft is a common, everyday thing now. That's why I felt lucky I still had my bike after almost 2 months of waiting for my landlord to find an open garage near my apartment. Now that I have a garage, I don't feel like I need to spend the extra money on an alarm and full coverage. But either way.....make it difficult, any way you can, for low lifes to take what you have...
