I have a 94 CBR 600 F2, i have the clymer honda service repair book and i was looking for the location of the stator, however i cannot find it anywhere in the book. was wondering if anyone had pictures of it or a diagram, or anything.

I don't have an F2 but most modern bikes have the stator on the left side of the motor. Some manuals call it the alternator others the stator. Either way it's behind the big cover on the left side. Hint: put a rag or pan under the bike when you pull the stator cover ... oil runs out - - Doh!!

Go to www.bikebandiit.com , you can get a full schematic & diagram of your bike and where everything is located. Like chain said, you will loose some oil when you pull it off.

The stator ( alternator) is on the LEFT side ( sitting on bike) under the engine cover that pokes thru the fairing, it has a very strong magnet and removing the cover can be stubborn due to its construction.
