starting a new project a few questions

it would be a good idea to put a few drops of oil in the spark plug holes when u change them out. it will help to lubricate the cylinder walls since they havent been used in awhile. my bike looked way worse and i changed plugs, cdi box and battery and it fired right up.
o and be prepared to have ur adrenaline start pumpin the first time u hear her come to life. i was jumping up and down and couldnt stop smiling.

Ahh good to hear i am not the only one. You are in the exact same boat i was a few months ago. LEt me know if I can help you find stuff ive gotten to do alot of research. make sure you get the engine compressions tested. Go from the first step of the engine and work your way to the end. So gas to fuel filter...etc.
When i first bought my bike I knew nothing (still don't know anything but a little more than before) the owner told me it ran great and he hit 120mph. Turns out that he was hitting 120 on only 2 cylinders.
