RE: squeaking noise?
You need to replace the squirrel with one that doesn't squeak.
Does the squeak speed up with the engine speed or with the ground speed? It's constant...fast slow...Does it happen in neutral? Does it sound like it's coming from the inside or outside of the engine? Is it more of a squeak than a whistle? Is there a mouse stuck in your air cleaner?

I'm with Mike, check out your wheel bearings. get the tire off the ground and see if it has any side to side movement, that should clue you in to the condition of your wheel bearings. Check the brake calipers, maybe the condition of the pads. Might not hurt to pull the tank and take a peek at your air box. If some clown before you "modded" it by drilling holes in it or something that could possibly cause a squeak. While the tank is off might want to see if there's any points that are rubbing excessively or if you've got plastics that are rubbing against one another causing a squeak. Possibly something suspension related?
I'm just throwing everything that comes to mind, that way you stay busy trying to look at each suggestion made, and odds are, the more suggestions I make, the more likely one of them will be right. Haha, good luck to you.
