RE: sprockets changed
ya know.....i have no idea what sprockets im running...but motor is totally reworked, jettedII, pc'd, an some stufx
i had never thought about counting teeth...how stupid of me....i know i've replaced them 10 times...but i just walk into the ship' and give em 140.00.....
maybe i should have em change up the ratio....im not really worried about losing top end speed....i totally dont have the ***** to top it out the way it runs now...i think it is in the range of 170+ cause at 140 i still have WICKED throtle response
********this rider only does stuff that stupid in a controled environment wearing an inflatablesumo wrestling suit and green hulk gloves for added protection....the beanie w/spinner is just for show though...

RE: sprockets changed
I have the stock gearing but latley I have been looking into starting to stunt. So what gearing would you guys go with to make it an easy wheelieing bike? I just bought a new chain and sprockets about 500 miles ago, can I just change the sprockets and use the same chain? When I say I want the best gearing for stunting I also use this bike as my daily driver so I need to figure out the best gearing for stunting/cummuting.

RE: sprockets changed
My guess is there is no compromise between the two. I think a common stunting rear sprocket is like a 62 tooth one which is like crazy low gearing. Stunting bikes are very much not good for commuting. Every stunting bike I have ever seen has been, by my definition, destroyed and no longer suitable for road use. If you are looking at stunting, get a bike you don't care about because to stunters, bikes are disposable.

RE: sprockets changed
Dont stunt your daily rider, plain and simple. You're gonna dump it, a LOT!
Stunt bikes generally have huge sprockets which arent suitable for commuting, -1/+2 is the MAX I would go for street use.
If you want a stunt machine buy a bike that has been written off but has a good motor, remove all of the plastics and put an engine cage on it.
Stunt bikes are usually taken to the stunt pad in the back of a truck, and leave the same way with no insurance.
