For the amount that ticket probably is going to cost you, you can get a laywer who will probably get you out of trouble. It's worth the chance really!

yeah i dont think a lawyer is going to do any more than a public defender in this case but i called one and he wasnt in his office so i told the lady to have him call me when he got back in. hes probably gonna charge me like 500 bucks and im still gonna lose my license. ill keep yall updated and let you know what he says then yall can help me decide my future lol

A public defender won't give you the time of day. You aren't worth **** to them, and they get paid no matter what happens to you and their reputation won't be affected by you losing or not. A private laywer will at least have their reputation at stake defending you. Give it a go!

Na, at 126mph's, what exactly do you expect even a private lawyer to do for you? You can't expect to just pay your way out of the problem.

Not really. Lawyers have relationships with prosecutors and judges. It's possible one could talk to them to have it reduced or find a way to keep your license.

Just offering a lil hope. Talk to an attorney and see what they say. An honest lawyer will start the conversation with "Well, son... You're ****ed..."

Well, if you were a friend of mine I'd slap you and tell you to chill the f--k out. You don't know what you don't know, and you damn well don't know what a laywer could and couldn't do, and there is a chance you could be fine. Hell maybe you WEREN'T going 126 (uphill on a bike that old, you'd damn well know you were going that fast man) and the laywer can prove it. Just give it a chance man!
