No, they will probably take it away once it goes into court if he can't get it lowered enough.

Nah, one of my buds is a cop and we discussed this, past a certain speed you aren't really making it worse, you're already beyond screwed for words, as long as you don't run, faster isn't worse past like 30 over.

yeah i know i figured he was just glad we stopped cause our off ramp was only like 7 miles away he was stopped on the shoulder on the other side of traffic. we prolly couldve just dusted him but you cant outrun the radio and i would rather have a speeding ticket, than evading and a speeding ticket lol....im pretty much screwed but he was cool about it....really he shouldve taken us both to jail lol....by the time he pulled up behind us i had already shut my bike down took my gloves and my helmet off and started smoking a cig lmao...could have lost him but there is always that chance you wont get away

That's prolly what saved you the jail trip. Done it before in a car. Blew past the cop so fast there was very little chance of her catching me if I had started taking turns on the city streets. Pulled over any ways and waited on the hood (smoking a cigarette too) for her to catch up.

She was cool too. Let me off with just an escort home since I said I probably wasn't gonna slow down. She did say if I passed her on the trip, I'd need an excavation team to find me under the jail

That sucks man. Sorry to hear about that.

Find a place near you that has a no chase policy. Here in shreveport there is a no chase policy on motorcycles over 100mph and the dont even look at us anymore. We normally take HWY 71 and there are cops and a police station along the route but its mainly straight and cops just wave as you pass them from the front or back. lol its really a sight you have to see to believe.

i thought most places werent really allowed to chase you cause its so dangerous. but then again alot of cops are dicks and do stuff that theyre not supposed to. i would like to know of one of those no chase places or atleast experience it lol ill just move out west with you we taunt the cops as we roll by at 101 mph *****

Had you been caught here in Ontario, you would have lost your bike and license on the spot for 7 days and been charged for "street racing" "stunt riding" or reckless/dangerous driving.
The fines for this are crazy and you can lose your for a full year far the 1st offence not to mention what will happen to your insurance premium...

check out the street racing laws here;
Street Racers and Aggressive Drivers – Effective September 30, 2007

The legislation includes tough measures for those who choose to race on Ontario’s roads, including higher fines and longer suspensions:
  • The maximum fine increases from $1,000 to $10,000 upon conviction for street racing, making it the highest penalty in Canada. The minimum fine increases from $200 to $2,000.
  • Police can issue an immediate seven-day driver’s licence suspension and seven-day vehicle impoundment for street racing, participating in a driving contest or stunt driving.
  • Courts can impose a driver licence suspension of up to 10 years for a second conviction, if the second conviction occurs within 10 years of the first. For a first conviction, the maximum licence suspension period remains at 2 years.
  • The definition of a “driving stunt” includes driving a motor vehicle at 50 km/h or more above the posted speed limit.
  • The Act also bans driving a motor vehicle on a highway with a connected nitrous oxide system. Some street racers use nitrous oxide to enhance the acceleration capabilities of their vehicles.
