Exclamation Someone please advise?

I need to take carbs off desperately and have been looking but don't know how to do it because no pictures. If I take off the boot clamps the other cables as in throttle...
should come off easier or should I take those off first? How do I remove the choke switch, it looks like it is in their pretty tricky. I am hoping someone will show me the way or hopefully finish it off myself with some luck?

You can remove the boot clamps and pull the carbs out before disconnecting the cables, that may make it easier to pull the cables off.

The cables come out pretty easily, the choke cable is just held down with a bolt and plate combination, dont have to remove the bolt all the way - just enough to rotate the plate out of the way.

Be warned, the carbs are stuck to the boots pretty solid, you'll need to rock them back and forth - up and down while pulling quite hard to pop them off.

yep, ur gonna need alot of strength to take those carbs out.. what i did was put one foot on the frame and used that as leverage to yank the carbs out. but make sure not to yank so hard that the throttle cables come off with it!!!

You can make it easier by heating up the carb boots with a hair dryer. The hot mode worked just fine for me with little concern of melting or distorting them in any way...and they came off a million times easier than with no heat.

Default help

I have a cbr 600 f2 and I dropped it going about 15, but ever since then my engine makes a rattleling noise kinda like metal hitting metal. I am extremely cheap so if this sounds like a easy or moderate fix I would rather do it myself. does these symptoms sound familiar, and if so please help
