Default RE: some questions

just use regular gas hmm 89 oct. i believe

my repair book (clymers) says Spark plugs NGK CR9EH9 and/or NIPPONDENSO U27FER9
gapping of .8 - .9 mm or .03 - .04in
torque too 12n-m or 9 ft-pds

and shift the bitch when it screams lol

no just shift it when it feels right but dont shift it a like 10,000 rpm every time you shift but sometimes crank on it very fun....

hope this helps

The engine oil is the transmission fluid. I just run Casterol 10w-40. just search around for any oil info. I can't remember what the capacity is.

These bikes have what's called a "wet clutch" which means the engine oil is also the gear and trans oil...A full oil change will take just over three and a half qts.

Are you sure you are able to use 89 unleaded? because i ran some in mine and it started to run a little weird. That and i have heard from alot of my friends who have bikes that you want to run only 87 unleaded in the bike. Can someone clarify this for me.

I only run 92 high octane...Predetonation is one of the worst things that can happen in a combustion chamber...Having the fuel ignite when it's not supposed to will eventually take its toll...

My manual (Clymer) says to use SAE 10W-40 SF or SG. Make sure it's motorcycle specific, though as it lubricates the transmission gears as well. Capacity is:

3.38 qt (3.2L) --- Oil change only
3.70 qt (3.5L) ---Oil and filter change

OK fuel debate.... right from Clymers Honda Repair book take it as you want too

"All CB600f2 engines are designed to use gasoline that has a pump octane number (R+M)/2 of 86 or higher or a gasoline with a research octane number of 91 or higher"

I use regular gas not mid grade or premium. and I drive the bike like I stole it and I got 53000kms on it and so far no problems with regular gas .. If you do not want to\ use regular go to premium cause mid grade is just a waste of money.. just my 2 cents
