Default Snagged a 94 F2 for 500 bucks!!

it has all the fairings and been sitting for 2 years. got it running, changed stator and rr. the directionals were wired backwards so melted the plastic. got it all straightened out and on the road woohoo!! only problem is it has a hesitation between 4000 and 5500 rpms! it jerks when im steady on the throttle but its smooth when i roll on the throttle through that rpm range weird...

It's lean in the mid range. This is controlled by your carb needles. Clean the carbs as reccomend. If its still doing it then put a shim under the needle. This will richen up this circut. If you have a carb kit installed just lower the clip one position. If you have an aftermarket exhaust or K&N filter, then that's why you have the lean condtion.

i dont know carbs that well. no clue if its the stock jets or if they put a jet kit in it. thinking of putting a stage 1 jet kit in it cuz its cheap and i dont have to worry about cleaning them haha. yea it has vance and hines full exhaust and k&n filter. if that dont work ill throw it on craigslist because i really dont have the money to keep fooling with it. ill keep riding old faithful my 87 honda hurricane 600 lol.

Create an account on an image hosting site (Photobucket, Flickr, etc.), and upload pictures. Look at the photos, one at a time, after choosing the resolution you want to see, then right-click the photo, and select "Properties", then copy all of the contents in the "Address: (URL)" section, and paste that URL into the "Insert Image" dialog on the forum site... just use "Preview Post", on the forum, to see how things lay out - you'll get the swing of it easily enough.

hmm ill give it a try soon. if i dont get it running right im just gonna sell it. when i had carbs off i noticed the intake valve was leaking by on cylinder 3.. tryin to find out if that would make it jerk when you are cruising at 4500 to 5 grand or if its just in the carbs. if i had the money to go through it all i would but unfortunatly i dont!!! i can hear it through the exhaust too almost sounds like a missfire but who knows
